DLSS
After purchasing the game, I discovered that the game lacks functions such as dlss and fsr. To be honest, I was at a loss, it’s 2024, many people have 20-30-40 line graphics cards, adding frames wouldn’t hurt anyone, even though the game is well optimized. Many people rely on this technology in a modern game, I understand when it is not in games from 15-17 and earlier, but now it is a mandatory setting in every game. The same FINALS has dlss 3.0, and the game looks amazing with high fps. I have an rtx 4060 mobile and I have a 2k monitor. Yes, this video card is not enough for 2K gaming, but it is DLSS that contributes to the ability to play 2K on 4060. I am creating this discussion in order to attract the attention of developers, I saw a lot of information about the fact that Darktide 2 has the same engine, and dlss was present in it already at the start of the game. I don't think the HELLDIVERS 2 developers have any difficulty adding this feature to the game. And the excuse that “more amazing content” is more important than “more technologically advanced” is simply laughable. How can you enjoy amazing content without good and smooth pictures?

Works fine without DLSS on my 12Gb OC RTX 4070...

Yeah I have just been running it on "Native" and it runs fine. It does have a scaling option in the game, similar to DLSS, and it works. But Native will give you the best quality if your rig is not struggling. Otherwise just run it on balanced or performance, and it seems to run great.

The game is well optimized? Lol, definitely not. I have barely 70 fps on my 4090

He's def not maxed out with consistent 60fps. I have a 4080 and I will see dips under 60 quite often.

Yes, I understand, but this technology is not comparable even to dlss 2, not to mention version 3

Don't you have a 4k monitor?

Then you have some other junk components. I'm using a 4080 and get 155 FPS with no issue.

Granted I am only playing on 3440x1440 and not 4k, but my 3080 keeps me hovering around 100FPS most of the time, unless absolute chaos is going on, like tons of enemies and multiple bombardments and stuff all happening at once, then I might dip down to like 70ish. Which, without DLSS, that is still pretty good. Could it be better? Yes. But it isn't horrendous.

This is like saying it's butter smooth because it's butter. Or the sky is blue. Nobody cares that it runs perfect on your near perfect graphics card.

The engine is very very old and they simply don't know how to integrate dlss into the dead, no longer updated engine that the game uses, and instead of upgrading to a new engine, they are trying to tear open the back end of the engine and tinker with it and hope it doesn't ♥♥♥♥ with the game too bad. I don't know if they will succeed. With their track record..I am not confident...

yeah id like to see it so i can max out my 4070 super with 7 7700. i run 1224 res and native. and usually hit 100-110 fps avg, supersampling i get a playable 60 and the last one drops to unpayable 35-45. if i could run dlss or maybe fsr i could max out all the settings and run a easy 120 at 1440. with this being one of the most successful games in 2024 i hope they can update the engine. that being said i do think they did a really good job on discontinued engine
