So I was looking forward to level 20 to get orbital railgun and 500kg bomb, why are they both HORRIBLE?!

Orbital railgung can be droped on enemys without killing nearby teammates.
Thats a big plus for me.

dont know why you say rail is horrible when its one of the best strat, guarantee kill on heavy target even the bile titan (provided if you pop 2 sack before using it)

if that 2 strat is bad i dont want to know what is a good strat for you

Orbital railgun is great for quick killing a charger and 500kg bomb really shines when get to have 2 of them.

then its bugged like most of the game because it definitely doesnt 1 hit kill most larger things.
And 1 guaranteed kill is good to you for the best stratagem in that genre? LOL even the basic eagle kills more.

The 500kg bomb is more niche, but has it's uses. Sadly, with the fact that we only have four slots for stratagems, I rarely bring it anymore.

Ive used it on chargers and didnt get a kill, bile titans took at least 3. So either something is off with the targetting or it just doesnt do the damage you claim.
And still just getting a stratagem that is 1 guaranteed kill seems good enough for you for the last unlock??? There are just so many better options.

Oribtal railgun does exactly what it should do. And the 500kg bomb also does its job well you just have to actually time it right.

I don't think I've ever not had the railcannon kill a charger unless it clipped through a mountain or something, so I can't speak to what you're talking about. I've had a double railcannon kill a bile titan, or a railcannon + something else (if the armour is stripped, usually a RCS will kill it).

What are your 'better options'? The only low level strat that's really applicable here is maybe the eagle rocket strike, but it was far from reliable when I used it as I was levelling and I stopped using it pretty quickly. I have no idea how good (or not) it is at killing chargers/titans etc.

I usually play against robots though, so ymmv.
