I know there is a lot of salt being slung today, and a lot of emotional people on both sides of this patch.

I just wanted to say that I've been thoroughly enjoying this game, but even more so I've been enjoying the overall community. I've had some rough days lately and there is something so special about dropping onto a planet with a bunch of people I don't know and having them stop spreading democracy of their own volition for a moment to offer up hugs,

Keep killing bugs and slinging hugs my friends, and while I'm a little disappointed and concerned for this patch too I will persevere for democracy! I hope to still see you all planet side soon.

I'm really conflicted. On one hand , I really like the game, but on the other I can't think of a single game that has even recovered from nerf creep.

Die hard fans never care, but eventually they are the only audience left.

Oh I feel you, I really do! I've seen some great games devolve into the endless nerf/buff cycle and it can really make more casual players (people with other demanding aspects of life) lean toward a more "stable" experience. They want to be able to pickup where they left off last time and enjoy their game time, not have to relearn a new meta each time they log on.

I also understand that it can keep things fresher for players that pour a lot of hours into the game too when things shift around.

Bottom line, I get it, and I'm sad that such a great community is fractured over this.
