There are plenty of people where it is too difficult. Or they simply don't like it. Not everyone likes super stressful situations all the time.
And don't tell me "But the game was meant to be a challenge", because than why difficulties at all? Go full souls and have 1 difficulty.
You want the best ship upgrades? Play the higher difficulties.. Tired of people crying for participation rewards. If you play the lower difficulites you DON'T NEED the samples anyway because anything can clear the lower ones.
Cosmetics/achivements for clearing hardest difficulty missions? Sure. In-game advantages? hell no.
I've completed multiple 7 ops with people below level 10 who listened to commands.
Really, it's not hard. It's just tedious and given the choice many people would rather grind their samples on lower levels. I grinded out super samples but I didn't enjoy the challenge. I can complete missions on Helldive. So what? There wasn't even a trophy/achievement for doing one on Helldive. Just because you can do something doesn't mean it's fun to do repeatedly. For me, once it's done, it's done. I have no desire to keep doing it unless I unlock something that makes it noticeably easier and more fun (like Genocide/Pesticide guns on the old EDF games).
No it's not, because it forces scrub to play on the harder difficulty and makes it harder for you to clear it. Durr.
