The Punisher fires bunch of pellets where IF every single shot hits, it deals 405 damage and the damage falls off at range fast.
Sluggers range falloff is less and it deals that 280 damage in a go at range.
Good example, the Devastators.
Shoot a devastator with the Punisher and you will notice it will need a lot more hits to kill than Slugger.
Since slugger can ONE shot them at medium to close range.
While Punisher cannot.
The Slugger can also damage some of the armored targets pretty well.
Works against medium armor but the problem is that I think armor is classified under having a certain damage in order to pen.
So if it's under X amount of damage, No pen.
Good example being sentinel walkers, the shield bugs.
The slugger, if you know how to use it (the recoil and aiming speed are super slow and easy to disturb) is actually way better than the breaker in every way. It's a high-skill gun though, so don't expect people to even know it's good, not to mention, that most people haven't even unlocked/tried it yet.
