Same goes for breaker. Everyone still uses breaker because every other weapon feels like shooting blanks.
One load of flame kills a charger.
If they were going to nerf Breaker they should have at least buffed a few other primary weapons...
The Marksman rifles are too unwieldy, MP-98 suffers from hyperactivity, and the laser rifle is ...... what is this?
The nerf are actually not nerfs tho, more like "if you know how to play nothing will change."
other guns needed buffs to have more variety.
Yes what game have you been playing???
'If you know how to play...'
Many people do not, because they couldn't be bothered to learn. Railgun and Breaker were simply too good to take anything else when you didn't want to bother with actual game mechanics. Why bother learning weak spots when the railgun just shoots through targets? Why bother aiming when Breaker hits everything at sniper rifle ranges with perfect accuracy?
Some of us actually like challenges in video games. Silly that, I know, but still, we do.
Nothing about the changes to the Breaker makes it sound worse. So what it has A LITTLE bit more recoil and a couple of magazines taken away. It's still just as strong. Gun Meta's are stupid anyway, they need to balance the guns around situational use and not making it so one thing is better than everything.
Even though I use basically everything except the Meta and don't have any troubles even when Solo fighting Bile Titans. I think people just expect their gear to make them good at the game instead of actually trying to get better and improve.
3 less ammo = nerfed to the ground
got it
And you need to understand, presenting yourself as being in the skill bracket of "solo fighting Titans" in a debate on the demerits of using the one titan-killer that doesn't have literal auto-aim, doesn't bode well for your credibility. I hope you said this to appease the human slugs that call everything a skill issue, rather than a conscious attempt at making your opinion more credible.
Flamethrower won't be viable until the Devs add a slow effect. At least for me. I'm bathing the smaller bugs in flame and they STILL sprint at full speed or fly(wont their wings be ON FIRE??) on me and the bug, thats on fire, moves fast enough to bump into me and catch ME on fire? Seriously? And YES, I'm walking backwards.
I've been using the SG-8S Slugger for a while now and it's by far not a bad primary. It's probably my favorite [plus it can reliably 'snipe' and pop weakspots on things like Devastators].
