Considering switching to fighting bots lol
Time will tell, but my crew already does not want to play anymore, with balance choices these developers are making.
This is a lesson on how not to design a game.
What is fun? Blowing things up and killing bugs and robots in cool ways.
What is not fun? Endless hordes where you get nothing for killing them, and tools that can't handle blowing them up so you are overran easily, and must kite things away. Where fighting does more harm than good.
Nerfing weapons and things that feel good to use and making them feel bad to encourage people to use other weapons, isn't good game design. Instead, buff other weapons in different ways to make everything viable depending on your play style. That makes far more sense.
The pool of viable and fun to use weapons was low to begin with, now I feel its even lower.
I think with the armour pen situation, you'll see a lot of divers swapping to bots.
Instead of balancing out the other guns to make them more viable and give us a reason to use them as well as being able to handle the massive amount of armor thrown at us, they nerf the workhorse rifle making it borderline useless.
100% agree, its a weird move, and not a move I thought they'd make.
Run as admin, updated VC redist etc etc cleared cache etc
Also people are acting like the railgun cant penetrate at all now. It still can in unsafe mode with good aim or at weak points.
If unsafe mode is the solution, then they need to add something to be visible in third person to tell what the bar is at. I know it's visible in first person, but a lot of people do third person. And if we can have an ammo counter in third person, I don't see why we can't have a charge bar in third person
Railgun nerf is odd, not what I don't even like the railgun and still don't feel it deserved it.
Shield nerf is deserved
Don't see why they didn't buff Recoilless Rifle or EATs cuz they desperately needed buffs more than the railgun needed nerfs.
You can see the charge bar in third person, on the side of the gun.
