Tips or methods on communicating with silent team members?
Recently i just got the got game and have so much fun despite the chaos. Since communication is one the key importance in this game, how do i communicate with my team members that're silent both voice and text chats?

Most of the matches i've joined in are radio silent (for a variety of reasons) despite i've asked them questions such as if 'i should start an evac' and got no responses from them.

you can tap Q to ping things, it works pretty well usually
if Q is a bad button for you I think you can change it too

I use the in game options, marking enemy patrols, saying affirmative when someone places a pin, and thank when i'm reloaded or was helped to open a bunker, and i try to remember to say sorry if i team kill.

Ping stuff and Tag your map
Hold Q for more emote
Check your teammates movement, if they all come for evac it's safe to say they're in agreement
If you need help with Vault, type it out

Btw, in a match, if you ping a ping your character will say that they will take it, but this last mission i was in, they tagged it with a negative. How?

Done all these and they're helpful, though for the bunker part i tried asking my teammates to come to the bunker and 50/50 out of the times, either one came to the bunker or not a single one. even for the full

I don't use VC because most of the time it's just people heavy breathing into their mics.
Map tagging and holding Q to respond has been enough for me. I do wish we had a voice line saying "Fall Back" or "Danger Close". So we can warn team mates of wonky drops because that happens, doesn't matter how good you are.

Similar reasons here. it's [current year] and modern games have no reason not to implement their own spin on Tribes' (April 12, 2012) VGS system.

I don't really mind since i've heard worse ASMRs from other video games. The worst case would be is either some toxic player saying racial slurs all the way (which i haven't stumbled upon...for now) on mic, or a person with loud background noises

Honestly, the best way to deal with this in game is to send friend requests to the players that you work well with in your runs. I'd say 8/10 times they will not accept, but the handful that do you can run in a coordinated squad.

Otherwise, what others have suggested is the best you can do. This is how I've managed to develop a small roster of chads and chadettes to run missions with whenever I happen to catch them online and have room in their squads.

Besides using VOIP yourself that is. Even when it's silent, I'll still state my intentions when I'm playing. Sometimes they will respond and acknowledge via in game, many times they will not.

tag your map ping important enemies and loot
announce in chat if you need help with a bunker
thats all ya need
i had voice on in two missions and it where two mouthbreathing people who had no idea how a microphone works

im more likely to read chat then to keep voice always on. So quick messages like that will go a long way.

use the ping system, play with rando no mic and still can communicate just fine with ping
