Either of the machine guns is honestly a more efficient way of clearing light to medium armor enemies and hordes.
Hard to take it over the railgun when dealing with titans or even chargers more quickly but I take it anyway because of the above and infinite ammo. I will suffer zapping a titan 50 times and chargers 15 times because of it, without it I doubt I could bring myself to use it more than a few rounds.
I just don't see how a weapon with delayed fire like the Arc or Scythe would ever be better than a weapon that can put out instant, reliable damage. Then again, I like to play aggressively, and the Arc is definitely not a front-line weapon.
*When* it works, it's great though.
it has way more range than people think as well , you can hit targets from 50+ yards
and to anyone who says you need something to deal with armor , it bypasses at least some armor and can be used to kill hulks , and while slower even tanks . im honestly surprised they didnt nerf it a little bit. but i guess it makes sense when most people dont learn how to use it to its fullest
i do understand the aim issues , you tend to have to aim slightly higher than your target to get consistent arc to them on uneven terrain
all of this at diff 7 - 9 so no , im not talking about low diff .
