I get kicked when my friend joins, he gets kicked when i join

My son, my dad and I are trying to play together. (all PC)

Neither of us can be in the game at the same time when playing in a 3+ player group.

Grandpa joins, I get booted, I join grandpa gets booted. Does not appear to impact the other players who I’ve played without issues.

The player in question and myself can play together as a duo though, just not in a larger group, driving me nuts!

Has anyone else experienced this and do you have any thoughts/suggestions?

dunno if this matters, but my son and I are playing from the same home.

It would appear that is not the issue since we are still able to join each other in a 2 person game and are friends on steam.

you 2 should just sit down and talk. Figure it out or dont play this game together anymore.

Sounds like you're trying to play under the same network. Perhaps your router isnt set up properly for playing on the same server?

Yes my son and I are playing on the same network, both wired connections. We have not had issues playing together in the past, nor do we have issues here, but I have an issue playing with my dad who is on an outside network.

Do you have any suggestions re the router? We’ve played other multiplayer games without issue up to this point.

Bump I'm having this issue too, we've tried blocking/unblocking and it didn't work either. Verified integrity of files and uninstalled/reinstalled but no dice
