"On Main Menu" Bug
My friend is experiencing the stuck "on main menu" bug. Can't start a mission solo, can't join others games. Tried verifying files, reinstalling etc - has anyone found a fix for this issue ?

Sadly, no. I’ve had this bug since I’ve gotten the game and tried many things, but nothing seems to be fixing it. I got one more thing to try but gotta wait for now. I’m to the point where I’m thinking you gotta wait for arrowhead to update and fix the problem. I would recommend sending in a ticket to them. I can start a solo mission tho which I find strange that your friend cant. I’ll let you know if I find a solution.

Here’s the link to submit a ticket to about the issue to arrowhead. I’ve done it too but I’m sure the more people that do will help bring the issue to their attention.

Thanks! My friend has now submitted a ticket as well. I hope they fix this issue soon.

Just a solution that has just worked for us this side:

I sent my friend my working Game guard files and then had him validate his steam files

That fixed the issue for us

Hey there! So i made a mistake in my last report, what actually fixed it for us, was we changed the wifi he was on to his phones hotspot, it appears his router was messing it up. So i recommend change wifi, use a hotspot and as a last resort try a VPN, goodluck!

My friend hit this problem recently. After trying all the suggestions here and others, only tethering to their phone seemed to fix it (VPN would probably have worked as well). That means something wrong with their usual network.

FIX: Turns out the problem was that the network settings in Windows for the Ethernet adapter was set to 'public network'. Changing it to 'private network' immediately resolved the problem!

But what if my settings were already on Private lol
I've been having this issue since day 1, have re-installed / re-verified more times then I can count, its such a ballache for a game I love...

did you get a fix for this, can see you're playing at the moment.
i had this issue and resolved it by updating my Ethernet driver a couple months back, but after the illuminate update ive started seeing it again, reinstalling the driver hasnt had an impact and theres not a new one.
