No super samples at super rock since recent major order?

Ever since the recent major order on every mission i play on 7, 0/3 samples showing, nivel 43, hellmire, even Mantes. I find the rock, no samples. Check every other poi in some of them. Nowhere to be found. Other dudes claiming same. Anyone else experiencing this bug? Did they move them to a new poi?

Maybe you entered quickplay into a lower level difficulty?

Haven't seen this myself yet, but if I had to take a quick uneducated guess, it's a bug or perhaps a way to stop super sample farming

Are you sure that you're not finding one of the fake ones?

Nope in 7 every time. Counter is showing 0/3. have searched whole map in multiple missions every poi and theres only one rock, not fake rock. just my luck i guess.

My guess is you just thought you searched every poi but missed it in a corner of the map or something.

... There are fake super sample rocks, though, they're covered in bug goop and hive structure-like material :X

I know what they look like, i was finding them regularly until the other night. The POI i find has the same ammo and such laying there and silver vein plug rock as it did before when i was finding them. Just minus samples appearing. Guess maybe its possible I missed another rock but i searched pretty hard on 5 or so missions and found the same nada samples plug rock each time and nothing else. it be that way sometimes i guess.

I'm fairly certain I've seen the ones covered in bug goop have samples on them before.

Kind of like last night I found one near a crater on a bot planet, and the samples were actually in the crater and not at the rock itself.

yeah every map has 2 rare rocks regardless of difficulty. on 7, only one of them has samples. the other isnt a "fake" or "bugged." you just get a coinflip when you find one. if you lose, you have to go find the other one

Literally have not seen this a single time, have only ever seen them at the regular rock.

Have literally only ever seen one proper one

The other ones are always covered in bug goop

Was just playing against bots before I got off tonight on Helldive

And it had them underneath it.

The ones covered in bug goop, are indeed Fake ones

Buuuuuuuuuut yeah, sure man.
It's not like this has been a known thing since week 1?

I couldn't imagine arrowhead being worried about super sample farming of all things. You don't need all that many to max out upgrades to begin with.

There's a few different variants of ones with overgrown hive ♥♥♥♥ all over it on Bug planets

The one they are describing, with the ammo pickups and otherwise?
Is one variant of the fake ones that spawn around the map.

I've never seen a bot equivalent of this.

The special rock can appear in 2 different forms. The normal one, and a bug corrupted one.

I have seen the supers appear at the latter before, but only if it's the only variant spawned on the map. If the standard rock spawns, it will always be there.

[Blaze Shadowflame]

There is a fake rock that appears on all difficulties. It will have ammo and stims. It's also not guaranteed to spawn and will never override the real rock with the samples, so keep searching the map.
