2) I also haven't found a way to cancel arc charges, and either way it's easy to just fire straight up.
3) If you are slowed or if there is an enemy standing over you standing up doesn't work so well. The more responsive option seems to be pressing the dive button again, although sprint also works most of the time as long as you aren't slowed.

Yeah as long as you didn't finish the combo and pressed left click you can also just press a weapon bind or ctrl again, it's once "the trigger is pulled" that I found myself stuck holding the ball.
I'll just be more careful and wait for the last moment to click, usually there's no real reason to be hasty.
It would be nice if they implemented a cancel at some point tho, but yeah I understand it's really minor.
Hold right click = take aim with grenades/strats
Hold left click = throw without cancel
This does not work once you have pulled back to throw. Otherwise it will cancel it.
