"Cheating"

What is everyones thoughts on using mods and any cheats for this game? I ran into a few last night and right ever each mission, they never even showed up on my recently played with list. One guy had infinite grenades, another was flat out invincible and another one seemed to have infinite ammo and ran around like the Flash. Considering how broken the spawn rates are, I guess I didnt mind the extra broken help lol. MY only concern is if more people do it, (and it would have to be A LOT more) considering the Devs basically just look at data, they may start doing some really and truly idiotic nerfs.

Infinite Grenades are a PlayStation 5 exploit.
- alot of them are invisible to the friends list right now for some reason.

There is a God mode hack.

I have cross play turned off to prevent any console shenanigans on my PC.

All I know is that i'm surprised there isn't more considering how simple it is to do it. All you need are the most complex hacking tools known to man: cheat engine and mod nexus.

Lol on Nexus Mods, the mod page for HD2 has been stagnant ever since the last patch. Some guy directs everyone to his discord page from there. I've never bothered to check it but I'm guessing that's mainly where everyone's been going and how they've been managing this

I belive its actually the PC side doing the cheats as im not aware you can even do it on PS5 if so. There's no cheat loaded on it I think

Still gets the job done, even if it's just directing you to their discord.
The point is you really don't have to go out of your way at all to abuse the hell out of the game, and that's kinda pathetic considering the anti-cheat in question is kernel level.

My thoughts on cheaters is: mark them with a branding iron on the forehead and exclude them from any gaming platforms for life.

Cheaters should be banned from every gaming platform. If you need to cheat then you don't deserver to play. That's my take.
Cheats have ruined the multiplayer games I used to love, like Battlefield 1 & V.

Infinite nades exploit isnt exclusive to Playstation.

IMHO exploits are fair game as they are on the devs, zero tolerance for cheats tho.

Which is problematic due to how ♥♥♥♥ automatic systems for it always are, but in principle.
