Lights and fires are too bright
For example:

Even from afar it is unnaturally bright.

Same goes for lamps:

Fire tornados seem to have proper light intensity:

Is this a problem on my end or is this how the game was designed?

I love when I can't see the arrows on the display because a light turned on directly above it.

True, lights only serve one purpose: to blind the player.

I always take down lightpoles, I can't see ♥♥♥♥ where they illuminate. They are like physical walls of white for some reason.
turn on hdr and have game set to 4k resolution like me
make sure to also turn on ray tracing through a vr mod called vorpex
it will insure ultimate realism
also dont forget to shave your legs to be quicker under water

For those that can't see a terminal because of a light, shoot it out.

But your screenshot is brighter than my game

Haha yeah the lights in this are insanely bright. Def not intentional.

Shoot the lights.

Joel wants to see us suffer in many ways possible, it seems.

Turn down brightness a tad in-game and disable the game's bloom. I've noticed Arrowhead's version of bloom just cranks up the brightness of light sources to 11.
