Please allow us to have missions involving the SEAF
As per title, I would like to see some missions that involve helping the Super Earth Armed Forces directly such as protecting and escorting them during holdouts against enemy waves or have them be treated as timed side objectives.

And for those who will say that we already have scientists for escort missions, let me remind you that we're only pressing buttons to release them from bunkers to the evac building a short distances away.

Any other suggestions for this idea?

I think they should be involved in a mission type I thought of the other day that would require several mission drop ins.
1st drop gain access to a high level facility and secure a perimeter to allow reinforcements to enter the facility.

2nd drop fighting inside the facility without call in strategems. Wouldn't be dropping in because the team entered the facility.

3rd surviving the counter attack and extracting. Not much of a drop either.

I would like to say this could be one mission on one drop. But each of these could have 3 objectives. It would be a long mission, some people were asking for high level missions.

In the end it really could be cut down to one drop, fast forwarding to entering the facility at the beginning where seaf gained entry to the facility waiting for you. Although it would be unlikely because super earth would ask the helldiver's to secure the entry point.

I mean, the helldivers could also probably provide assistance for the SEAF by joining a frontline that is being contested or secure the LZ for more boots to be dropped on the ground as we wait.

But yeah, we do need more missions that could be a little longer.
I'm skeptical of how well the ai can be coded. One simple thing they could do is transport supplies or build a base you would later need to defend.

Like if we were talking earlier, if you were fighting in the facility of part of a bigger mission. They could have setup a defense base outside when you were in there. As long as it seemed like it could be done in the amount of time you gave them. I'm sure the believability could be extended if they had drone support or builder mech or something.

Perhaps they could build stuff? The ai could defend a base I'm sure. I'd like to see them use cover or go prone at least.

Or we could be sent in to defend an existing facility that is currently under attack or destroy it to prevent the enemy from claiming it for themselves. I can see it with bots, but bugs?

What are bugs going to do with a facility? Make a nest inside? I guess we could always clear it as a form of infestation for pest control.
Having some limited time objectives as an in mission event would be amazing. Instead of the same ol' same ol' set of objectives have a few that involve reinforcing an SEAF stronghold that's under attack or help them establish a beachhead into a new map.

A lot of the bug missions involve SEAF facilities that were turned into nesting sites so that's essentially what happens.

Actually that would be great. As if the helldivers do everything? We could even try and defend them doing objectives we already know. Like the helldiver's were called in to support the seaf because they called in reinforcements. It would be a defend mission for the seaf. But then again, why wouldn't the players do the mini games? Or would the enemy ai kill them so often the players would do it anyway?

Friendly fire isn't.

I can just see a whole lot of 'accidents' waiting to happen...
The ai would either be like scripted NPCs or be player bot like. I mean like you see that they can emulate player function. I'm thinking they will have basic ai. If they have player bot ai, we may as well have a enemy human faction to justify the coding.

Anyhow, they would be all over super earth defense missions at least.

I mean, we are getting a SEAF squad stratagem soon enough. Looks like we'll just have to wait and see.
While we're at it, It would be nice to be involved inside the pockets of the full-scale battles such as the SEAF fighting whoever it is they are going up against. You know, the conventional warfare such as infantry lines and vehicles.

What a sight it would be to have allied heavy armor backing you up as you fight against the Automatons.

Funnily enough I always think that the scientists were better off without us..
I mean, the area is all nice and quiet when we get there, they could have had a nice relaxing stroll to the door, but nooooo, now they have to evacuate through a maelstrom of hellfire because we brought all the agro with us and insist on standing there and watching them cross the hundred yards between doors, hehe
these are the same scientists who just stand there as their approached by a singular scavenger and start shivering their timbers and don't even run as they let the scavenger rip them to shreds in 2 hits.
they'd probably kill themselves on a pebble if we don't help them like the toddlers they are.
