Constantly endless breaches without bugs calling it
Hi,

did I miss something or is part of a mission, but at the moment there are constantly bug breaches, one after the other, without any bug around me and my friend calling them. It is an endless current of breaches. We cannot accomplish a mission when we have no way to prevent it or have time to resupply. That is a downer for me so plz, is it a bug, an event or part of an order or mission?

Unless it's an extermination/defend this area mission, stop trying to kill every single bug, just toss a cluster bomb at them, turn around and go do something other than trying to singlehandedly terminate the Terminid threat, like an actual mission objective.

On higher difficulties it might be wise to split up, one group (or one martyr) gets the bugs attention while the others complete objectives and look for samples.

The problem you're having I only ever have when trying to solo missions on difficulty 5+
It was an extract citizen mission. Does that also count as a defend mission?
Yes. There will be constant bug breaches. It's a pretty brutal mission type, you really need to bring a good loadout for it.

dis-engage, you know that you can run from bug waves right? keep running for about a minute and they'll "forget" you
also remember every bug can call reinforcement. even that small one you might miss.
you got nothing from clearing bug waves. you need to know when to run when to fight.
learn to evade patrol, when to crouch and when to prone. crouching reduce detection radius while being prone makes you virtually invisible to patrol. at higher difficulty one bug breach can spawn multiple heavies.
This is why light armor are preferred, speed is king.
oh if you're on extermination or evac mission they'll spawn non stop

This is a great time for sentry turrets. Toss one down so it can fire at the breach and get out. The turret will make a lot of noise and draw aggro and everyone else can run before its destroyed

We were at the edge of a map on an island and it spawned right behind us. And yes we can outran them but we saw on an open plane that there were no bugs and still there appeared a breach without 'caller' :(

Like youtube video tutorials, you cant just run them off. Kill some of it if needed. Random matches at higher difficulty have teamwork knows how to do it and they dont get swarmed.

Ok, maybe we never did this type before so it never happend to us. I think that will be the case. Will try other missions instead

I think it is the way spawns work. I recall seeing a video about it recently.

It could be wrong but my understanding is as follows:

It seems that there is actually a "heat bar" each of us carry.

Everytime we are near an active primary or secondary objective including extraction, the "heat bar" fills up very fast. The rate of filling up drops the further we are away from the primary or secondary objectives.

So, each time a "heat bar" is filled, AND if the "cooldown" of bug breach happening is done, a bug breach will happen. That new warbond's perk is I think supposed to lengthen the "cooldown".

So, if 4 people split up, since the 4 "heat bars" will fill separately, it could lead to more bug breaches since they will fill up at different times and the "cooldown" could be done at each of those times.

So, if you or someone else in the team is at the primary or secondary objective or extracting, I would expect the bug breaches to keep appearing, especially if there is someone else in the team running around elsewhere.

think its just bug climps out of hole immediately calls for more and smoke is blocked by smoke cause by previous breach you cant see it but its happening i have had this happen and the cycle ends when you manage to instagib the whole horde on top of the breach.
