Only Getting 60 FPS
Ryzen 5700x
AMD 7900XT
32GB Ram
Installed on SSD

Is this game just that poorly un-optimized or is there a better setting pre-set I should use, or is it that my cpu just sucks?

yea its unoptimized
Guys. I'm only getting 144 fps instead of 180.

Games so poorly optimized.

i get 115-130 FPS on everything max, its fine. Runs a bit hot, like mid 60's, low 70's, but thats normal for games these days

I mean 60 fps on every setting is poor optimization but thank you for adding nothing to the conversation

4070ti here. you need to put it at 2k instead of 4k you can also turn upscaling quality/balanced it puts me around 120fps. but ye its def poor optimized no dlss framegen either. i have everything on ultra though.

I've exactly the same cpu and gpu, with fluid frame turned on ~ 1440p max settings I'm running around with an average of 188fps.

48gb ddr4 @ 3600
installed on gen 4 nvme

Maybe a hit and miss scenario, as it has been ok for me albeit I haven't played as much as I'd like so can only speak of the few hours I've played.

*edit** apologies I have the R7 5800X not the 5700X might be the difference but I doubt it's that big.

performance is still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. i dont understand how people with 4070s and Ryzen 7s cant run this game but there are people with 2060s and old CPUs that get stable frames. somebody's lying

maybe, i have 5700x/ 32gb 3600mhz/ 4070 super. 2k resolution or fullHD in fights fps drops to 53-60. When playing solo on difficulty 1 i get around 120-130 fps. i don't see CPU going to 100% or GPU usage above 70%. Higher difficulty = lower FPS also. I think it's engine really likes high CPU frequancies, my friend has 3060 and older intel cpu, but with higher boost clocks, and game runs the same, even feels smother. In every other game he is like 40 fps behind:lunar2019piginablanket:

Try changing Display Mode to: Fullscreen. I was having the same problem. 4090.

Is this game just that poorly un-optimized or is there a better setting pre-set I should use, or is it that my cpu just sucks?
your gpu is getting bottlenecked by the cpu.

The game engine is old and unsupported and is very CPU intensive ever since they started releasing patches it fixes one thing breaks 3 more. And just keep messing with the games performance it wasn't as bad as this at launch, it's about time we actually got some performance fixes during the patches at least.

5700x isn't hardware bottlenecking a single gpu on the market right now.
