Do you really need help with that one? Just take autocannon or railgun on lowest difficulty that spawn hulks and go solo
You'll get one or two on extraction for sure

they dont appear on 'lowest', ive soloed the mission on hard-extreme several times i just been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the extract or the hulk keeps gettin dead as i extract

Might be wrong but don't you get your first mission to tackle an Hulk at diff 3 or so?

You have to kill it to complete the mission, so you can't leave it alive for the achievement.

Unless you plan to throw the game, wait out the timer, and then trigger the automatic emergency extract.

been there done all that, for soe reason it didnt work.. didnt say anything about needing to complete the mission to get the achievement, but then the gone in 360 seconds was bugged and i soloed that one 6-7 times before i got it so maybe this one is too. the most luck ive had at the moment is to go on the hard difficulty missions then find maps with that ridge and try to land on it then blast away until i get one with no arms... my current problem is that my pelican LOVES to target the almost dead armless hulks and ruin everything

You can wait for the pelican to land and then remove their arms. You get it instantly upon entering if you are the only person so it takes off and whatever collateral damage the pelican does after that don't matter.

thats the current plan that ive figured out XD, just it is a bit harder on solo, which was the hence of the original question. i very much dislike bots. ill get it, eventually though.

difficulty 4 spawns hulks, just take the eradicate automaton forces mission, proceed as per usual, wait for hulk to spawn, use a weapon without splash damage and medium armor penetration to remove hulk's limbs (preferrably the ranged hulk version, melee seems to have insane health points on limbs), see it moving towards you, get on the shuttle. Easy. DId it with a bunch of randoms with 10 seconds left shuttle leaving, granted it was before the colossal railgun nerf, but still.

guess i was unlucky then, ive done a couple solos on lvl 4. Never not once saw a hulk spawn in my attempts
