laser guns, smgs, slugger. Those make quick work of the shriekers.
If you don't use a loadout with any of those weapons, consider strategies that involve completely skip having to deal with them by directly destroying the nest from afar like Autocannon, Arc Thrower, airstrikes, EATs.
running sideways minimizes damage dramatically.
standing still, they go pretty much through a shield + your hp. not sure but seems like a guaranteed headshot
however, since you can see their hives quite far and it takes only 2 EATS to clear, they are pretty much only ever a problem if you have to take them out solo while using a unsuitable gun.
havent seen them turning into biletitan legs tho
personally i dont have a problem with that.
havent encountered them at a night map, which might make them basically invisible (dunno), however if you stand still and anything besides a warrior hits you, you get removed (except when you have the 50% anti-deathblow armor, then a bile titan stepping on you isnt a big deal).
the damage of falling enemies is quite weird.
had a bile titan that ate a rocket, however the corpse launched itself towards me (50% anti deathblow triggered), however the force pushed me off the map and into the ocean.
samples lost.
pretty much ok to me, except for the body being fired in the exact opposite direction that would make any sense.
the impact damage of smaller corpses should be somewhat checked, i´ll agree with that.
pop quiz: How do you stop them from doing this
A.) Shriekers OP plz nerf
B.) run around in circles until your cooldowns finish
C.) shoot them in their wings with one bullet and watch them plummet
See why people critize your gameplay? Because you virtue signal about something being unfair as opposed to asking yourself how to solve the problem. You want others to solve it for you instead of figuring out things on a lower difficulty when you've actually got the mental and emotional space to experiment with features and mechanics.
my bad, there I go being toxic again suggesting that you invest time in learning how to play something you spent money on.
Had a sort of Starship Trooper moment today. Dropped and Shrieker nest was nearby. It did not take five seconds until I was dead.
They are not strong.
They die from a single hit.
They can hardly hit you if you lay prone.
Their attacks are easy to dodge.
Their nests are huge and easy targets from afar.
If anything, they are too weak now and need being buffed.
