I usually run throwing things further armor, +grenades armor, or explosive resistance.
Something lighter for bots, depending how I feel I may go super light, or medium armor with throwing or aim. I like to use the HMG for bots and MG for bugs.
For bugs: titan light armor (with a tiny bit more armor then usual light) and engineer perk
Oh and for a bot eradicate mission or defend mission i switch to exterminator medium armor with fortified perk
For bots im testing exterminator and heavy armor + forty ( mayority of them ) , using light against them when already spamed a lot of shooters and rocketers ( or a bunch of devastators ) that snipe you from 500m+ is a no no , even with forty passive , well i dont have erradicator to be really sure
I find myself in the heavy armor camp after a long time of slowly up-armoring. At this point I almost never drop in with less than 150 armor for either enemy. Often times I go for the B-01 Tactical for hot planets or when I need to be more mobile with some snake-way island chain, the Fortified Commando or some nice looking 150 armor fortified when I think I can fight my way to victory (mostly what happens). I also like the Twigsnapper for the increased ADS speed, which makes the Liberator Carbine+HMG into a super snappy bug perforator.
I've found I almost never use extra grenades or scout these days and I have not really been a fan of medic or democracy protects armor, but I did give them a good try. Arc armor is niche at the moment and I use that sparingly.
Yea at that point eruptor and other weapons become meta. Forced by the game and the devs since nothing else works or has the same significant impact.
seems about right, but the summary is , Vs bots always fortified and if you good at dodging rockets [medic armor] for bugs everything but fortified lol, , atm mostly rolling with engi kit on light armor to spam stun nades, but light gunner was quite solid too
Aside from that I will say that I haven't experimented too significantly. The DP-11 Champion of the People set works good (how can it not with a 50% chance not to die) and it looks pretty good too. I just feel like I am cheating when I put it on; although under some circumstances I feel like I have to wear it (sometimes against Automatons on Helldive).
I am going to experiment with the medic armors soon; I just never messed around with them because enemy "precision" wasn't as big of an issue in the past. Now that enemies are glitching out and shooting through mountains, I feel like this armor is more warranted. I have had too many circumstances where a patrol "locks on" to me from across the map and starts blowing me up.
Throwing distance armors are good (light and medium) for more tactical and convenient strategem deployment. Just mind the bounce...
I never use heavy armor, personally.
That's about it for me. I'm using the melee damage increase armor for memes right now.
