Your Best Armour - Thoughts
Just curious what people consider to be their best/most usable piece of armour?
Personally the only ones i find useful are the stats:
No bleedout damage
50% chance to avoid lethal damage.

I think it depends on how I feel. I ran scout for a long time just for the stealth benefits, but with the latest update it is so easy to get one shot by heavier bots or killed by hunters.

My favorite since then has been the +2 grenades for dealing with bots and bugs. Of course for bug holes with bugs, and it's nice for dealing with a train wave of hunters and other bugs. For bots, it's nice for the factories, but also just satisfying to see them explode into pieces, also for dealing with scout walkers.
Scout armor for bugs

I use heavy armor now for bots because it's just too easy to get 1-2 shot by explosives. I also can't be spamming all my stims just because a bot gave me some chip damage to the ankle. Heavy armor reduces the danger by a lot.

I like using mediums in general, they give a great balance of mobility and protection.
For bots, I always use the +50% explosive resistance. Those rockets are the bane of my existence and the armor passive + a personal shield does so much to keep my sanity semi-intact.
For bugs, I prefer using +2 grenades. Swarms of hunters and those little nippers almost always are the causes of my death. So the extra grenades to clear them out + some help from the laser rover does wonders for my happiness.

I have the light medic armor.

I've been stimming for days. My veins are pumping nothing but hormones and eagle sweat.

In no specific order:

FS-38 Eradicator (against bots)
B-08 Light Gunner (against bugs)
SC-37 Legionnaire (for additional throwing range)
EX-00 Prototype X (when playing in a team with ARC weapons)
SC-30 Trailblazer Scout (in case you want to play this as a stealth game)

There is an armor that has a 50% chance to survive lethal damage.

Trailblazer Scout, no exceptions, is currently the best armor in the game for everything but small map civilian escort and eradication.

Yeah I agree with above, the one with 50% to survive lethal damage is the best all around armor.

heavy against bots, light against bugs.

my preferred stat is 30% accuracy and +2 grenades.

Aesthetic-wise they're all pretty cool. I sort of rotate them on a whim.

I pretty much 100% agree with this.

I honestly just use it for everything though.

B-08 Light armor has great survival potential

Every time I return to scout armor I am reminded psychic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and stuff spawning on top of you for scripting (hello, geo survey breaches) or jank spawns remind me why I stopped. The tooltips to sweep the map for PoI bugging out half the time for me since last patch does not help matters. (I can see it. it is right there. why do you only want to pop up for the 2 man vault solo!?)

So the more time goes by, the more Engineer vs bugs and (cash shop to not be heavy) fortified vs bots is my constant go to.

Though crit hits sure have cut down on how many more stims than medic suits I use, I still generally use more stims than medics with fortified vs bots.

I like scout armors with +2 grenades or stims.

Trailblazer Scout, Eradicator, and Legionnaire are my go-to's depending on mission and the load out I'm bringing.

I am currently using a medium armor with Engineering Perk of reduced Recoil and Extra Grenades.

Was using Light Armor with Scout Perk before that... but since they "fixed" Armor values i feel a little to squishy in Light Armor.
