they 1 shot me with like kamikaze attack or w/e and then they attack me and doing
really low damage. They have 1 attack that insta kill and im sure its bugged at the moment.
Just watch where they are diving from and side dodge. Dont doge forward because the rest will still swipe you.
Oh! That is good information to know. I was unaware you could reach em from that distance. Adding that to my tactics.
To kill the Shrieker, you have to peek up. This will make you prone to being attacked from grounded enemies.
To kill a Shrieker from a distance, you actually have more chances with something other than a shotgun like your SMG secondary (on semi automatic) or a lasergun.
Even if you do manage to kill a diving shrieker, its body will turn into a mighty projectile that can one-shot you. (Arguably doing even more damage than a simple claw attack).
All these challenges have forced the playerbase to resort to cheese tactics. Using stratagems or the Autocannon to snipe the nest from afar and in safety.
I think they start spawning in on either 5 or 6.
They’re allergic to shotguns as well.
They’re currently a brand new enemy type and seem to be appearing occasionally. You never know what you’re going to run into on a mission.
