Dying on a diff 9 mission can be rough and spiral out of control, having the extra ammo and extra grenades can easily be the difference between being able to get your gear back or die trying.
Maybe make it be a CD reduction for the supply call-in to keep it on theme and still be a good bonus to have rather than a almost mandatory one?
Reducing supply call-in would also be a great alternative imo. Definitely not mandatory, but still a solid pick.

I get why its like this, but still makes the perk basically mandatory and feels bad having the medic/grenade armor not be topped off on deployment.
I blame the terminids and automatons for that, it's an anti-democratic ploy to undermine the unlimited ammo weapons.
not picking the ammo, the stamina buff is pretty much gimping the game
