[Crash fix] Don't use Acr thrower, the Blitzer and Tesla tower for now

Title, let's test this out.

Make sure nobody in your team is using Acr thrower, the Blitzer and Tesla tower.

More people in Discord reporting this to be the problem, tell your team to not use the Arc thrower.
:Verifying files will always re-download 1 file , and is not fixing the crashing atm.

works fine on my machine, using tesla tower and the armor to jump my arcs to crowds, waiting for the blitzer so i can go full tesla trooper with the arc thrower

I don't mean those cant be part of the issues. But, I said several times over the discord that I experienced 3 crash in a row in the same mission, at the extract, yesterday just after the update and before the friends request hotfix. No one were using any of these weapons and stratagems.

This morning I attempt the very same mission again, a random fellow diver join with the arc thrower, and we had no crash.

There is more to it than specific weapons crashing the game, it's probably some other stuff or a combination of stuff.

Sure can be, none of us can know this for sure.

Was it a biom with lightnings and stuff ?

Crashes appeared without any Tesla weapons in the team. So the Arc thrower and other weapons as the root cause seems more like a coincidence.

For me / my team stable right now, sure might be another thing that contributes to the problem but this solution seems to help some people.

Crashes happening when NO team members using ARC weapons or Tesla so I think this is a random but high happening new bug from Patch 03.

Maybe there are other factors too, since now none of my team members are experiencing this.

AMD has not fixed crashes for 7900 XTX either yet combined with the new crash issues this getting a bit frustating, probably for AMD driver team as well

Apparently the crashing is not from the electricity graphical effects itself. Rather it's from the in game stats going nuts. Cause before the Arc weapons didn't count for shots fired or something along those lines. Latest patch they fixed that. However, they clearly didn't do any testing since that is what is nuking people's computers.

not only arc n blitz, played without those two also crashed my session. the devs were so into "balancing" the game ended up breaking the game. well, it was fun while it lasted....

Arc Thrower still crashes the game every time - without fail. The Tesla Tower is still under investigation - had one crash in ten missions while we had one operational, every now and then. Not sure if it was because of the tower or just random crash. The host just dropped straight to desktop without any announcement or anything, as is typical to this game. Usually, whenever the Arc Thrower caused the game to crash, the game would freeze - with the sounds looping in the background - and just about forces the user to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to get to the task manager and kill the game. You can Alt+Tab and close the game through there as well, at least in my case.

When I stopped running electric based gear it kinda fixed my issue crashing left and right. I don't think it's the sole cause for the crashes though, I wonder if someone is messing with their servers or something. I keep seeing the "Cyber Security Update" pop up in the feed back on the ship. That and I also saw a "void message" popup in there too. It's in the feed where they usually tell us whatever community message and junk.

And did anyone have a browser open in the background of the game for "gameguardfaq.nprotect" ?

Yep, thrower just crashed my game.
