[Crash fix] Don't use Acr thrower, the Blitzer and Tesla tower for now

Title, let's test this out.

Make sure nobody in your team is using Acr thrower, the Blitzer and Tesla tower.

More people in Discord reporting this to be the problem, tell your team to not use the Arc thrower.
:Verifying files will always re-download 1 file , and is not fixing the crashing atm.

It's true, Arc Thrower can and will crash your Game. Happend to me twice already.
Arrowhead also knows about that Issue

You're both right and wrong.

The Arc thrower is crashing the game. So is the new Arc Shotgun in Cutting edge, and the Tesla Tower stratagem. My guess is the electricity effect, either in calculation or in the particle effect, is what is crashing games.

Should keep an eye on this too for now, nice thinking.

For now, lets try to not bring anything with that electrical effect in the match and bump this thread once tested.

Yeah, when I (and my team) stopped using the Blitzer and Arc Thrower the crashing stopped.
This REALLY sucks though.

I agree. We played about 8 matches last night and had constant crashes till we stopped using the arc thrower. It's still just anecdotal evidence but there's definite correlation there.

I just crashed again right after mission completed and running to extract. Standing right next to a team mate that was firing the arc thrower (I was host). I've also found that is crashes at around 15-10 min remaining.

it's random on when you crash to be honest, i played an hour with arc and didn't crash , then 30 mins and crashed..

Nah, something got broke with the last patch.

No one in my team has arc thrower and always crashes during extraction.
