Getting tired of this new meta
"Helldiver has joined the Squadron."
*Dies once in the first minute.*
"Helldiver has left the Squadron."
- OR -
*Kicked for having the lowest kill count on non-eradication missions.*
- OR -
*Kicked for picking "x" stratagem - but not being told to change it or anything.*
- OR -
*Kicked for not being Level 50.* (Oh that's right; I have been kicked multiple times for this stupid reason).*

Seriously people - get over yourselves.

I haven't had a proper game of Helldivers 2 in over a week because of the above issues - switching between Suicide Mission to Helldiver difficulties.
It has made the game near-impossible to play and a downright horrible experience with what should be 45 minute long missions only lasting less than 10 minutes from people just bailing after dying once (Not even to an accidental) or getting kicked.

I'm playing the higher difficulties because I'm wanting to obtain more Warbonds and Samples, while also having a challenging - yet fun - experience, but this hasn't been the case and has just been hours of limited free time wasted.
I've only ever kicked people if:
- They are causing too many Accidentals from poor Stratagem Placements (Such as Cluster Eagles or Orbital Barrages directly on top of other Players repeatedly).
- Being abusive over chats (Sound like they should probably stop playing games and go outside for a day or two).
- AFK for a prolonged period of time (One-two minutes).

Something genuinely needs to be implemented to help reduce this. I know it is impossible to completely remove the above issues, but it is ruining the enjoyment for everyone else, and if not managed could plague the game and kill it.

If people are curious:
Level 36.
On Eradication Missions, I tend to pick Sentries (Such as Autocannon and/or Rocket), along with Railgun Orbital (Sometimes Orbital Laser) and/or Eagle 110mm for heavier targets. Final slots tend to mix between Flamethrower, Shield pack, or Autocannon.
On all other missions, I tend to go with Railgun Orbital (Sometimes Orbital Laser), Eagle Airstrike. Spear or Recoilless Rifle, and finally either Walking Barrage, 380mm Barrage, or Autocannon Sentry.
I don't often change from these, but sometimes I might also use Eagle Cluster/500KG, or Rocket Sentry. My choices also vary on if going against Terminids or Automotons as I know some Stratagems are less effective than others depending on faction.

I do have all stratagems unlocked, so if anyone has better ideas, then I'm open to hearing them. The Spear I will say I'm using less due to the really poor reliability on Target Locking.

In terms of personal loadout:
Terminids: Breaker (or) Breaker Incendiary, P-4 or P-19, and Impacts.
Automotons: JAR-5 Dominator (or) SMG-37. P-19, and Impacts.

At this point, I was hoping to have had more weapons unlocked, but with the amount of poor experiences I've had recently, I've been stuck with the same weapons for the last couple of weeks.

Been kicked right before extraction, because one teammate TKed another teammate. They thought it was me because I was near them completing mission. Whole 15-20 min mission helping team, booted in last few mins. No rewards, nothing. Just wasted time.

Lesson learned: Always go for Host privileges unless they fix. I try not to join peoples games anymore if I can help it.

Just a bunch of kids and poor neckbear man-children trying to get some sense and control in their lives, and kids who don't know any better because they've been raised by a toxic internet. Nothing dramatic. most guns suck and only use what you are comfortable using my personal favorites are the SMG-37 and R-63 and also P-4.
I pick stratagems how I see fit, but railcannon is really good and I usually have HMG sentry because it cuts like a hot knife through butter.
I usually like to play a supportive role in whatever game ofc I get kicked because of it and because of my set up. But i dont mind i just do me and enjoy the game. You should also, be a better person than the kickers and enjoy your life and your game.

Rockt Sentry is really useless right now. At least against bugs. Does almost no dmg to a Charger or Titan. It has no stopping power against them either.
I swear, the: "Targets always the biggest thing" does not work too, since 2 weeks.
Slugger is a great primary. High dmg and stagger power.

This game is mostly fun playing with people you enjoy playing with. Joining a random team is always just throwing the dice.

But the true challange are the randoms. To play with friends is nice, but it gets too easy.

Your problem is easy to solve, you just need to join the ranks of the Bug Liberators! Did you get kicked for destroying a squad with a stratogem? There's nothing wrong with it if it was done for the beetle's benefit!
idk why this is a thing in HD2, in HD1 you can only kick someone once everyone is back in lobby instead of mid mission kick, the only mid mission kick should be AFK kick performed automatically.

in HD1 once i joined a lobby of a newbie and 2 more rando joined on it to help the newbie, we all got tk'd by him and our support wp, healing drone stolen, he just spin around for fun and won't reinforce till he get overwhelmed.

guess what happened next, we 3 executed him and completed the mission. Now that was democratic

Try Gatling Gun instead. Rocket Sentry might as well fire poptarts at enemies </3 I am disappointed in its performance. Gatling + Autocannon on bug missions goes hard asf though.

Not sure what your question is, but if you're asking for some advice, I'd say your loadout choices are kind of gimped and niche.

Your main goal when not playing with friends is to be able to SOLO objectives, whether it be bugland, or automatons, and your current loadout does none of that, hence your less than satisfying games. If you played with friends, sure you can run autocannon.

Autocannon is crap is bugland except to stealth close bug holes, its good for those close bughole blitz mission, but it's outclassed by antitank weapons now, or the arc/flame thrower, in standard missions.

In the defence missions at high difficulties, turrets are garbage, they kill your team, and they don't kill enough for the cooldown time. It is better to get eagle cluster, orbital gas strike, orbital gatling or burst, and orbital laser. If you want to take out bile titans cos no one else is, get the 500kg bomb, or mech suit - this is bad if you land in the map with lots of cliffs and walls etc so it's a risk, however, your goal is not about taking out bile titans, it is about getting 500 bug kills, so even if there are bile titans running about, if you blow up all the small fries, it'll get you to 500. Bile titans count as 1 kill. Small warrior bugs count as 1 kill. Do the maths, i'd skip bile titans altogether.

If you want to enjoy solo bugland in helldive mode, you have to go arc thrower (which due to current bug crashes, is not an option), otherwise you just stick with the group and be useful, go recoiless or EAT, get stun grenades, get 500kg and orbital rail strike. IF you're like me and know what you're doing, get the sickle, and then get gas strike, 500kg bomb with stun grenade, cluster bomb strike, and orbital gatling barrage. You will lose your bug hole closing abiliity, but you will rain hell upon hell on the bugs during their bug breaches as you run away doing different objectives.

If you want to trivialise automaton land in helldive, get orbital laser, eagle air strike, and orbital rail cannon vs 500kg bomb. You should also pick a long ranged primary that can 1-2 tap raiders and stealth kill encampments that you need to invade to put hellbombs/disable (detector towers and radar jammer).

Also, always go with light armour with scout modifier, it lets you skip patrols (go trial and error the range before enemies detect you in standing, crouching, and prone), and despawn range in trivial missions. I'm not going to tell you the numbers as i think everyone should work these details out themselves and quit complaining).

The common theme here is to skip all the weapon and backpack stratagems as it is usually impossible to retrieve them once you die, and their cooldowns are stupidly long, unless its a simple blitz mission that can be speed run with air strikes or stealth auto cannon into the bug holes.

If you want to extract from helldive missions, then you will need a friend.
- Automaton extract requirements - you still grab the orbital laser, but you'll need stun grenades, laser cannon and EMS motar as your other 2 stratagems (you usually only have 3 stratagems in helldive, more than enough).
- Bugland, you have to replace something with the Mechsuit.

If you're relying on team mates to carry your ass around, then of course you won't enjoy yourself in helldivers 2. But it also means you might as well drop the difficulty levels if you want to ♥♥♥♥ around and have fun with gimped strats. That's what I do, i just go down to suicide mission to have fun.

Is this a regional thing? Over 200 hours and i've been kicked once at the end of a round. I've certainly been kicked when entering someones ship, but I figure that is because said individual doesn't know how to set their game to private.

Did they tell you these are the reasons you got kicked or are these assumptions? I know there are clowns out there who kick for dumb reasons but there are also dumb players.

Soon people will start kicking level 50's because they don't need samples or credits and will grief the mission by rushing the main objectives.

Probably that and because the social is busted and people are inviting friends over and randoms are taking their slots hence the kicks.

Those choices aint great.. 110mm is just a waste as it does what anti tank can do twice on 1min cd, orbital is "ok" for bile titans but 500kg just kills in 1, rocket sentry is worthless..

I personally dont care what people bring, for bugs I go 500kg/Airstrike, Expendable, Minigun sentry & rover

People should be able to pick what they want sure, but there are always the jerks who insist on arc's for some reason (they suck, I don't care what people say) and kick if you don't bring their idea of "muh meta".

Easiest solution is just start your own game, can't kick you then.
