Tone back flying bugs NOW
These things are insanely out of control and come with the nests, which also have your normal influx of ground bugs.... its impossible to actually deal with them. There were so many of them on the last mission, it killed all of us, over and over and over and took 16 lives from us in about 2 minutes.
you guys want to impliment new monsters. SURE, do it, but how bout you start SMALL, and then step it up. This is BS and annoying

Skill issue, just laser down the nests and bugs,
Keet Mar 20, 2024 @ 9:42am
stratagems my dude. Orbital strike, orbital laser, walking barrage, etc.
you have heavy artillery on command, use it
Sylas Mar 20, 2024 @ 9:44am
they did as a small drip; feed, some people were already seeing them so we did know about them also their hp is small so i dont see the problem here just look at other weapon choices weapons

Skill issue: use autocannon, laser cannon, strategems from afar. Only use the hellbomb if for certain you got the area secured.

i dont mind the amount of them, i would however prefer if their dive didnt one-shot you
Cazabichos [ESP] Mar 20, 2024 @ 9:58am
Low difficulty

This. The enemies themselves are very do'able, but they do wayyyy too much dmg for basically being flying hunters.

Though I'll point out the shield makes it a 2 hit kill instead of a OHKO

Linking them to flying hunters is your problem, you need to consider then as flying stalkers. And the longer you ignore their nest the more you'll have to deal with

I can easily take out hoards of stalkers but these flyers are taking teams out before we even know where their mushrooms are. They are not like stalkers who only spawn at most 2 roamers every once in a while when you get close to their home these spawn like 20 flyers to you even on low difficulty dives. Then you have bug breaches spawning around you as your trying to thin their numbers.

cry babies.
Just pick machinegun turret and the will die.

Idk, 4 man squad, Suicide Mission, far as I know, first mission with Shriekers for all of us, no one died to a Shrieker and their nest was the first thing we did. Diving seemed to work well to avoid their dives, they're brittle, very doable objective.

My suggestion? First thing after dropping, find some high ground and mark everything you can see, communicate that information to the team. Anytime I see a stalker I immediately start scanning the map for where their lair might be and take it out ASAP, same will be done for these little buggers.

Had them on a few maps now - they've killed me once or twice but overall had absolutely no issue killing them. Certainly not impossible to deal with.

IF your struggling that bad then i guess you'll just have to get used to running Rovers (They do make great anti air) but they really arn't that much of a problem....
