RAISE THE LVL CAP

I had hopes the game would open up at level 50.
But it does not, there is no new stuff to do.

We end up babysitting low levels that want to do high difficulties to get the pink super samples quicker.

Even if they unlocked the level cap to be infinite leveling.. what does it matter?
There is nothing to get from it.

If you can't enjoy the game without seeing an arbitrary number go up, you clearly didn't enjoy the game to begin with. Maybe something like Cookie Clicker would be more your speed, you get to watch a lot of numbers go up in that.

I think that levels should be removed, they serve no purpose. They don't give more hp, damage and armor, hence 25 or 30 should be max and maybe increase in the future if new content drops.

I m lvl 38 right now and couldnt care less about further levelups, as there is nothing to gain from it besides new titles. Therefore I do not bother if they raise the lvl cap to 1000 or not.

I play because I like strategy and winning and bugs going splat.
If your main enjoyment is how high a number can go may I recommend astronomy? They use really big number and the universe keeps expanding so no max cap holding you down. ^^

Are you ignoring the players progress and unlocking all the things that give them purpose?

How can you be so cavalier to ignore so many things just to tell people how they didnt enjoy the game once they cant unlock anything else or improve themself in anyway and are repeating the same things over and over alongside people like yourself with a narrow minded view of anything.

Or the game being on repeat after having unlocked everything.

Unlocking new things is fun, this thread is not about that, it's specifically about the level cap. Level ceases to have any meaning past level 25, but here's someone complaining about it being capped at 50, claiming the game to be "pointless" after that point.

For him, the point of the game is literally to make a pointless level go up. Did you actually read the OP?

The levels are pointless anyways. The only thing they should be used for is to lock people out of higher difficulties in coop play. They should get rid of levels all together and unlock all the gear to be buy able at lvl 1.

If they want levels to mean something then they would have to revamp the system and aint no one got time for that.

We don't need the level to go up but more content is needed.
I find diff 9 to be too easy and apart from main objective and planet progression there's nothing to do. They need to make higher diffs and make them meaningful.
