OBS not recording video - anti cheat?
just got this game and i generally record when i play any game in case something cool happens and i want to clip it later. going back to my recordings, i noticed i was getting audio from mumble and also from the game, but zero video, all black screen.

wondering if it is some anti cheat interaction between OBS and this game? every other game i have records with no change in settings.

I'm not sure about OBS directly but I was setting up Streamlabs OBS yesterday myself (which surprisingly is a different program.) And it worked flawlessly. It might be an issue with the video input. Maybe the game isn't being recognised or OBS is recording the wrong thing.

I do know some applications stream as black screens in discord as well and the fix for that is usually either border-less window mode / window mode entirely or something to do with hardware acceleration which you can enable in your bios.

obs works as most streamers use obs and if you check things like twitch people are 100% streaming this game.

Most people use Streamlabs OBS - it's actually not the same thing.

You're right it's actually not fair of me to assume what people use. I should say I just see people using Streamlabs OBS more, personally and that might just be my personal confirmation bias is all.

this is correct. the default display setting was borderless windowed, and by changing it to full screen, it corrected.

Great! Glad that helped you.
