Eagle 1 should bomb players if you kill Pelican 1

Since it's possible to kill Pelican 1, it would be a fun little touch if afterwards, Eagle 1 targets players when summoned (they are married, and you can't evac anymore anyway).

I've had it bug out once, it landed and wouldnt accept us going in on a erradicate swarm mission. We threw all our orbitals and 4 500kgs on it. Didn't budge.

Yeah, we killed it once and I won't do that again. Just assumed it was impossible to kill so we unloaded on it and while it didn't explode it lit on fire and we couldn't board it to leave.

Kind of funny. Once.

Accidentally killed it once, the orbital laser stopped right where Pelican would land.
So it landed in the laser...

Never actually managed to kill the Pelican btw, just set it on fire. Ironically, using Eagle 1.

Why isn't the guy piloting eagle 1 instead of a minivan drop ship? I thought this game had chest hairs.

Cause it takes far more balls to fly down into the killer bots and bugs than it does to fly past them and drop explosives?

I find it funny how walk outside of the arbitrary zone for 10 seconds. You are an enemy of democracy, and we shell you till you die but kill your fellow helldivers on extract? Eh, whatever doesn't matter, send another down. Like, a guy shot us all as we were sitting in the drop ship.
