How can i remove the cape

The title.
It feels so bad to have a cape. It's taking enjoyment out of the game for me and i haven't even started first mission.
If not possible ingame or in options, anyone has any tips where to find model for cape and remove it's vertices or something to remove it.

That would be better for some of the armors, for sure. But, unfortunately, it's part of the dresscode. You don't want to be out of uniform, do you?

I find it funny you start the game in training without a cape & I really liked that look then there's isn't a opion to remove it.

Why? It's not like they'd be doing it for game breaking reasons that affect damage or something.

If it's just removing a cape I don't see an issue with it. It's purely appearance. considering the game has the player out of a cape in training it would also make sense to not wear it as well. Since it's clearly able to be done in the game itself already.

Maybe it can even become part of the story and the player gets to decide at some point. The game can go "This is what it's really like. Not the propaganda" and then there's a more serious shift in tone and the player figures out what they're really fighting for. etc. So the cape can be seen as a symbol for good or ill somehow with the option to remove it or keep it on. Which can be toggled whenever the player wants.

Think of it like how Batman is still capable without the batsuit.

That cape is a pretty important part of the in-game lore. All you can hope for is the Devs making a cape-less option one day (which might occur if enough people ask but I'm not holding my breath) or a very short cape being released in the future.

The Capes have been a primary Character feature since the beginning. The more they blow in the wind the farther our Democracy spreads! Unfortunately it's like saying "I want to play Super Mario but without the Hat and Mustache."
Although there are shorter and more compact ones.

In the first HD it was a common silly thing for everyone to start twirling in circles to swing their capes around as fast as possible. And seems like they leaned into it more ( like everything in this sequel ) because even on the ship we have a nice, strong breeze so our capes can blow majestically AT ALL TIMES. lol

*Give it some time, I am sure there are or will be other smaller capes. My old fav was a shoulder one with a small short strip down only o the mid back.
