GameGuard: Failed to connect to the update server

Bonjour, Hello,

Je n'arrive plus à lancer mon jeux, il m'affiche un message d'erreur : "GameGuard: Failed to connect to the update server. Check your network connection and try connecting again later"

Ma connexion internet marche très bien, j'ai fait la mise à jour du jeux hier, après la mise à jour j'ai joué sans aucun soucis .. et la ce matin ça ne marche plus.

je suis le seul à avoir ce problème ? comment le régler ?

I can no longer launch my game, it shows me an error message: "GameGuard: Failed to connect to the update server. Check your network connection and try connecting again later"

My internet connection works very well, I updated the game yesterday, after the update I played without any problems.. and this morning it no longer works.

Am I the only one having this problem? how to fix it?

I get the same error every now and then. Deleting the GameGuard folder that is located in the game directory usually fixes it for me.

A very simple solution that I saw somewhere on here was to simply verify the installation in properties

Necroposting but I have a new avenue that everybody can investigate:

Check if you are using a Killer Network adapter (very popular among gaming machines), if so, start the Killer Intelligence Center and turn off the Prioritization Engine and Auto Bandwidth.

As always, Killer hardware is good, their software is utter trash. I wasn't only getting GameGuard errors, I had problems connecting to ANYTHING using SSL including Cargo repos, GitHub, PowerShell Gallery etc. and it was driving me nuts.
Some deep, deep research finally yielded this result that fixed the problem in my case. Re-check the setting whenever there's a new Killer Software update since they like to revert it to the default. Never trust anybody to have some sort of magic software optimization algorithms for hardware challenges. ;)
