Using ammo backpack on yourself?

Just wondered if anyone knows the wearer of the ammo backpack is able to use it on themselves? I know you were able to in the first game, but cant seem to be able to in this one? anyone figured it out?

#5 uses the backpacks function. Which in this case resupplies yourself

Yep you can, in fact if you have someone in your team who is running the ammo back pack, you ideally should always let them grab resupplies first.
Reason being is if you have a backpack, that is empty, and your weapons are empty, you picking up a resupply will refill your ammo by 50% and will give you a backpack charge, so effectively you get a 2 for 1 From resupplies.

usually by that time you have a new charge for your stratagem to call down another backpack, which is what I typically do. let the team have the resupps, you got your own :)

Hmm this and grenade launcher seems like a good idea

Its relaly is, if you wanna go the support route the resupply back pack is great for any sort of support weapon that does not already come with a back pack. so the LMG, and the grenade laucher are great, turns you into a support monster able to dish out crazy amounts of shots.

You can, and being realistic, if you bring an ammo pack, most of it is gonna be used by the wearer. I bring it often but never really get a chance to give it to teammates, we're often too spread out because we're dealing with our own threats.
