Not even gonna talk about the "Counter sniper" cause....wow....
The breaker shotgun (the auto shotgun) is currently a bit overpowered for a number of reasons, though I still don't really like to use it.
It does barely less damage per shot than the regular shotgun (like less than 10% less) but fires much faster and can be reloaded much faster due to having a magazine rather than needing to be individually fed. The regular shotgun should probably be buffed to match, and the assault rifle should probably get more ammunition plus maybe a bit more accuracy (the main appeal of the "default rifle" should be consistent damage, and having enough ammo to keep using it is important there).
The Marksman rifle is fine though, it's actually my preferred weapon. It does run out of ammo fast in a hectic fight, but has pretty good damage per second in a pinch and can help pick off annoying enemies very easily. Shotguns can't "snipe stuff" as well, that's just blatantly false - they have far less range.
Make sure you're using the scope for weapons like the Marksman rifle though - hip firing them won't let you hit those long range headshots or such nearly as well.
Hopefully they will put out some balance updates later on.
I tried the first marksman rifle but the optic is beyond terrible, even like mid-long range targets are barely larger than the gigantic aim pointer in it. Mid range targets where I can somewhat see the enemy(robots) their head and most of upper torso is almost entirely obscured making me miss more with this than with the damn HMG which for whatever reason feels like it has better zoom but could simply be because the optic is clean and I can SEE what I am aiming at with it!
Unlocked the Liberator, and was honestly so disappointed at how much it sucks.
Honestly not sure what advantage "Medium" armor pen is, it's no use against bugs it seems, and the damage of this rifle is hot garbage.
Yuppp.. you hold R.. had to look at a "10 thing you should know about helldivers" video to find it. Should be part of the tutorial. Or better indicated if it is lol
You can even increase/decrease the machine guns rate of fire there and it's not at max by default..
are you holding r to adjust the zoom of the scope?
