On bug missions grenade ammunition spawns could use a buff on higher difficulties - it's a primary way of destroying bug nests holes for primary and secondary objective, as well as some points of interest.

Gernade launcher is also another fine way of eradicating the nests.. orbital strikes also work if you put it right on the nest

Yep I run around with the extra grenade orange scout trooper looking armor that has extra grenades with a ammo pack with a grenade launcher lol

your get 16 across the whole team, can have +2 from armor passive, and can also use the grenade launcher, AC, recoiless, bazooka thing, orbital etc.....

Plan ahead. As has been mentioned, there is armor that gives you +2 grenades. You can also drop air strikes into the tunnels which usually gets them. There's the grenade launcher, which is incredibly effective at destroying bug tunnels. There are the other explosive options, like anti-tank or the recoilless, but those seem like massive overkill imho.

You can also just drop the resupply if you really need to, the recharge isn't too severe if there aren't status penalties.

Before Hard difficulty you're best of with Autocannon as a nest/Nursery/Stalker clearer

but you have to be level 10 to get it

The answer is already there it's a grenade launcher

As others have mentioned:

- +2 Grenades armor passive
- All explosive support weapons.
- Supply backpack
- Resupply stratagem
- Finding grenade packs at PoIs
- Respawning
- Booster that keeps you fully supplied every drop.

There absolutely is not a shortage of grenades or ways to take out bug nests. Completely negating the fact that you can get lucky and take them out with stratagems too.

There are a plethora of ways to destroy bug holes. Most explosive weapons and strategems work as far as I know.

On bug missions the grenade launch is amazing for horde clear and closing those filthy holes those things crawl out of.
