You can find small deposits of orange even on T3 I believe, it's just not common at all.

As mentioned its anything that's 4 and up in difficulty. the purple/pink samples are also only at difficulty 7 and up. Its pretty easy to get a bunch of orange and green if you have a good team on difficulty 9.
