How do i play this game with friends solo?
Is it possible to play this game completely without all these randoms? And how do i play this game from A to B exactly? I see that planets are already done even though I wasn't even there.

It is possible... Go into the game Options and set the game to "Friends Only" if you want to keep randoms from joining you at all. Then just have your fiend join you t o play.

The game is a Live Game which is why you only see some of the planets open. The invasions will push the lines forward & backward across space opening new worlds ans the community secures or loses ground in the overall war.

matchmaking--> "friends only", enjoy.

game seems to have online campaign-theme that each team effort matters towards a common goal - liberating the planet from xenos scums. you can see the % value of progress.

So, there is literally no story? It's just "kill these things" and done?

It's a constant war that's going on, worlds will be liberated and get overrun again on a fairly regular basis, game has no final victory and if you missed a planet, chances are it'll need liberating in a few weeks again.

I mean the whole point is your playing a try or die game with your friends in a battle hot environment.

Tbh that's kinda bs imho. Personally, I would prefer to be able to play the game with my friends at our own pace. Instead, we now have to wait weeks for new missions or there is a risk that missions or planets will be skipped if you don't have time.

Anyway, i guess a refund is the best decision here. Kinda sad, because the game itself seems to be really good. But then we have this weird game design. I don't have anything against it, but please make it atleast optional...

That's not how it work. The Planets is just gonna have different names and location in the campaign map, but that doesn't mean it wont have the same theme / look. The placement on the map is just a gimmick. So you are not really missing anything. And you can still do missions even on fully conquered planet.

Atm there's 4 distinct playable planet theme, 2 for each of the enemy faction. The rest of the planets with the desc of it being under our control is just gimmick ui. You aren't missing anything.

The game doesn't have a linear story or mission progression. it's a bunch of preset mission types mixed with some RNG in the map layout.

And the community order progress bar thing is just a fun stat for community goals that just give you some neat reward if we managed to pull it off. It won't ruin your experience whatsoever.

And yes, you can make private lobby without random joining in the setting. Set it from public to private.
