Spamming constant airstrikes, orbital strikes and half-assed turret placements play a role in it as well.
What gets me though, when someone runs right into a beacon and THEN gets mad that they got killed.
like wtf?
Yeah.. I've stood in direct line of fire from gattling turrets, blocking a full barrage with the back of my head tends to not end well.
The ONLY thing that'll make me turn sour on a random, is if they get me killed, and then start looting my gear while my stratagems are on cooldown.
That's treason and I'll shoot you myself.
Its especially funny when the scout (me) already spent some time clearing the nest and by the time I chug the last grenade into a tunnel, I get blasted by an airstrike without warning
Might as well say it's a feature for the lols, I've had my turrets snap to a bug, shoot & kill me just to kill the bug & some keep firing while they spin to aim at something else.
Same goes for the Guard Dog & Rova version (they even hit the player who has them equipped).
Communication is common sense. And when in doubt, dive.
Can't tell you how many times I've died because I had three enemies on me and instead of just shooting them my team throws an Orbital and they are kind of hard to pay attention to when you are fighting.
It's designed that way on purpose.
It's so you have to take into account where you place your turrets.
It really does matter.
If you just toss down a gattling or a mortar in the middle of a fight, you're gonna kill your team more then the bugs do.
As for the rovers, they only hit you/friendlies if you're in extreme close proximity to bugs and squadmates.
It's something the wearer needs to be aware of and take into account.
Keep your distance during firefights.
Ah classic, "I see 6 bugs, the 500kg bomb seems like the good choice", my shotgun is just for show.
Nothing at all you could do to avoid it!
(except for minefields... i fkn hate those things xD)
