Shooting range in the ship
Would be a pretty neat feature, A way to test out guns / grenades before actually getting in game and realising they wont cut it

The destroyer is huge, Plenty of space for one ;)

Agreed. Any shooter that doesn't have a weapon range is kinda silly imo. Be sure to include all resistance types and this would also help people to learn the angle of their shots, so they don't deflect.
For sure, I mean they could even have a range on Superearth which could almost be like a hub for squads to roam - But they could have an open area to test out stratagems too

I mean, you could just go to terminal, swich to trivial, solo and drop. Worst case, 5 minutes lost while money and exp gained. Range would have loading too tho, in and back, so probably 3 minutes-ish and nothing gained?

Yes, So we can test out weapon reloading times and how stratagems work before you drop into a meat shredder and have no opportunity to even figure out what button to press. You know how many times that happened. Before I figured out it was Dance, Dance Revolution combos they were using in this game. I felt like one of the Big Brain Bugs had sucked my brain out. That's how dumb I felt after I realized it.

A way to test weapons and stratagems would be great. I'd also like more statistics. Damage, armour pen etc for support weapons, enemy hp and armour, stratagem damage and armour pen. Would be nice to be a bit more informed rather than having to do so much guess work. More clarity in general.

Trivial doesn't have the enemies with armor though. So it's hard to test angling shots.

Statistics would be awesome, Surly the democracy has all this intel on their enemies

There is meant to be a Stratagem practice console inside the Destroyer to help with muscle memory. I have seen footage of people using it but it has never been switched on for me.

A firing range would be cool, but the theme of the game is also about being thrown into a terrible risk with a high chance of death. You are not just one character - the moment you die, a new person takes your place. You are an expendable resource and you learn through the experience of death.

Try intentionally extracting or dying without completing the primary objective to see some of the different messages you get like 'Pointless Sacrifice'.

it doesnt even have to be on ship,just a weapon try option.
id be content with an instanced tiny map with shooting range and all available enemies in game. medals take a while to farm, let people plan ahead according to their styles.

it certainly d be more beneficial than...idk...strat minigame?

Planetside 2 really set the standard here, full shooting range with terminals to quickly switch out weapons/add-ons and every enemy/vehicle type spawned in for testing
