Unless I'm mistaken, mission difficulty does NOT scale with your amount of players. So playing solo actively makes the game harder, and playing with 3 others is optimal fun.

I've been having a lot of fun playing solo on the Easy difficulty. I feel that encounters are best tailored to solo play there. The simple bug extermination mission on Medium was doable as well, but Egg destroying mission on Medium was long and challenging (and I died a few times).

I found if you dont quickplay on the first starter world it works better. I havent had any issues joining on cyborg planets.

Solo is a stealth/kiting experience. You will be trying to complete the objectives without activating bug tunnels, while also speed running the primary objectives. Anything that takes longer than that means you will be getting more/harder bugs, and they will overwhelm you.

get some buddys and tac with them if you want avoid rnd luck with players. if you dont want play with rnds or friends, accept that the game is not build as a singleplayer experience.

Mission difficulty doesn't scale with player count, it always assumes 4. If you want to solo, you have to do the work of four people all by yourself.

Some people find that thrilling, some find it infuriating, but the game is designed with co-op in mind.

there are some very niche cases where going solo is viable ... super alloy farming in helldive blitz search and destroy ... but you need some key unlocks and a bit of luck to not get turbo screwed ..... definitly more fun to do it with a group, though it takes longer.

Caretainly a mindest to have... "People" and "humans" indeed all suck (minus you, why of course).
