Game crashing discord ?

Since I've downloaded this game and started playing my discord has been crashing none stop basically, Like ill start up the game and boom discord will crash and not reopen, until like 5 try's later. Is anyone else having this problem?

(side note)
occasionally the game will blue screen my pc I get no error codes just blue screen then restart.

Oh okay so im not the only one. ive looked everywhere for a fix i cant find anything.

Is your video card AMD? If so, the best solution so far to try to prevent crashes is turning off Anti-Aliasing and Global Illumination (it's ray-tracing i think, no?) settings in the game.
I've got 7900XT and that "fix" helped me.

Oh, weird. I haven't seen that. That's interesting, though. My friend and I play every night after work, and haven't seen that. We stream our screens to each other while we play. Super odd.

I have only turned off Global Illumination and had 0 crashes so far since doing that (AMD 7800 XT). Can recommend the advice from RuTucker if your GPU is an AMD.

There is a very good chance that its gameguard doing this.

Gameguard would be the application force shutting down all the others.

Welcome to why a lot of people have been saying this particular anti cheat is garbage, because with kernel level access it can do this kinda stuff and give you nothing in return.

AMD card problem.
Friend got that too.

Limit fps, turn of anything shiny and distance render, choose lower resolution and wait for patches.
Happens more on robot worrlds.

If it'd be an issue with the anti-cheat no one would be able to play as it'd force close steam and discord for everyone tho? And it certainly doesn't for me or anyone else in my list.
Like seriously, people need to learn to think for a second before pointing fingers everywhere and making something up that doesn't help the issue in the slightest.

Edit: Not to mention that ACs don't force shutdown anything, they just block you off from accessing the product if they deem something fishy until you resolved that.

I have a nivida 3080 and my pc can handle the game on the highest settings, But im still stumped on what to do.

For discord, after few try, discord dont crash when you are on a ship, even with friend.
But in game, they crash and you cant re open it

im having the same issue however i have a 4070 ti and not an amd card, so I dont think it has to do with amd cards.
