very good against armored bugs and i personally like it but ive heard a lot of players say its garbage cause of less damage and mag size

it's good if you dont run support weapon for killing armored enemy, but if you use grenade launcher, machine gun, autocannon then it's not worth the reduce damage and magizine

I like the semi-automatic mode. I really like the variable scope zoom. The main problem is the lack of ammunition.

It is infact garbage. The automatic shotgun is imo the best primary weapon currently in the game, opinion may change but so far I have been able to kill far more bugs with shotguns in short spans of time than with any rifle even with the penetrator which is the stock rifle's armor piercing.

Yes it can pierce the armor of the red bugs, but it takes half of your mag if not more to down one. I'd rather kill all the small bugs then simply deal with the red bug last than have to run back, shoot, run back, reload, run back, shoot, run back, reload.

I perconally think it's garbage, like with the marksman rifles and the rest of the rifles in this game.

If you do not use anti-material rifle, or autocannon, it might be alright.

I prefer regular Liberator on burst and 125m scope.

I unlocked it yesterday, and it was honestly a huge disappointment.

I found it absolutely horrible to use, it's a miserable experience compared to the Breaker.

The damage is really terrible, I've only fought bugs so far, so maybe it shines against the robots, but "Medium AP" doesn't seem to offer any kind of advantage against bugs, at least not when compared to the Breaker.
Even with less AP, the Breaker will kill pretty much anything way faster.
The Medium AP makes it alright versus the mid sized enemies, but the weak damage makes it absolutely terrible versus anything else (small swarming things & jumping fakkers).

I always hated Burst mode weapons, so I prefer the Semi mode, but even the first Semi Rifle does 112 dmg per shot, and Defendor 70 on auto. So 45 damage per bullet feels terrible for such a weapon in my opinion.

The great thing about Breaker is that when you fight bugs and you get swarmed by things like warrior bugs, stalkers or whatnot you can dive reload/heal and blast them away.

In that same scenario with Liberator you're dead twice over.

i feel like am more effectif with the defend who doesn't have the medium penetration

I love it. Take headshots on any armored bug (except chargers) and watch the flakes of armor bust apart. Drops a hive queen in a little over half mag. Also melts stalkers pretty quick on burst mode too from a decent range. Rips the red shield bugs to shreds in no-time flat, as well. I'm a fan.

It's all about correct application. Breaker is great for the little pop bugs and the mid hunter-sized dudes, and if you get up close behind spitters. But I love the range versatility of the Libby Pen.
