If anything do something about how inputting support commands stops the player from moving. And if you have to press control to move then that's holding down too many keys at once for that many arrows. One key is fine for something quick. But multiple keys for something more complicated is another matter.
The game X4 would have "Press space to move mouse" (instead of steer the ship). Problem is the movement keys are the inputs here. Could use arrow keys for inputs instead and have WSAD for moving. At least then I can move around without holding control and it's easier to swap to mouse with my right hand.
What do you mean, "do something about" it, you do something about it. If you want to move around while inputting, put your input keys on something other than WASD. Mine are on the arrow keys, for instance. Also change the Open Strategem list to press instead of hold, if you like.
Having to reload manually was part and parcel to the whole Helldiver 1 experience. (That and crushing your team with badly placed drops and other TKs both accidental and intended and...)
It makes YOU responsible if you run out of ammo and cannot shoot, not the game or the gun.
...Ooooor... wrong game mate.
git gud
Can you imagine going on a reload automatically after shooting a recoiless rifle?
No auto reload is the way. Just press R and keep an eye on your mag instead of asking for bad features.
That said, I'd just be happy with "if I press the reload, I want the weapon to reload - start to finish". Can't begin to mention the number of times random ♥♥♥♥ interrupts the process in the most annoying fashion (random ragdolling, drudging through slowing terrain, diving, getting up from being knocked down & not finishing the reload, etc.)
But yeah, I'm not opposed to it as a surface-layer concept in the game.
