Difficulty Poll
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's curious as to what difficulties the majority of players have beaten right?

I personally thought that most of us were at impossible or helldive but considering how many people are complaining about the difficulty, I'm starting to doubt my original beliefs. It's not going to be 100% accurate but it's better than nothing I believe :D

i mostly play extreme and suicide solo or random, helldiver sometimes if someone level 20 can go...

Difficulty 4 so far. That's already hard enough that I run into the limits of the timer quite often, with things potentially going bad quite frequently. It's also where anti-tank weapons become VERY mandatory, and those seem to have gotten quite the nerf in Helldivers 2.

Difficulty 7+. Mildly sad when I see people don't bring any sort of anti-tank weapons or off-map support in public games though!

If you're running out of time, I'd recommend focusing on objectives. Going solo, I can complete a suicide mission in around 20 minutes if I focus purely on the main objectives. Speed is a key factor in solo runs since you have no one to provide cover fire and if you use sentrys, bugs will prioritize killing them over the player. Not sure if you're running solo but you are kinda require to focus your build on agility rather than firepower/support.

did multiple missions on highest difficulty already (helldive)

6 and 7 are about the sweet spot.

But wave defense is a joke even on Helldive. Needs a dramatic difficulty increase for this mode.

No, actually, medal per minute, helldive wave defenses and blitzes are far and away the best return on time invested. It's 8 medals for one, and they're 10 minutes each.

If you can get one location with both of those, you get 19 medal for 20 minutes of fighting.

Edit: I'm tired and level 30, lol, i thought the rewards you were talking about were medals, cuz thats the only thing I'm still hurting for at this point lol. But you were, in fact, not talking about medals lol.

Yeah sample return is best on 4 and 5 where you can get rares, and also take your time nabbing all of them.

I've been meaning to ask - when do the rarest samples start dropping? 6, is it?

solo 7 (5 or 6 with randoms) unless I'm playing with friends, then it's whatever difficulty they feel they can do.

Haven't tried 8 or 9 and don't really intend to, feel like 7 is my skill cap.
