I was wondering the same thing. If I had waited a few days to buy the game I would've permanently missed out on those planets..? Seems odd.

I seem to recall one of the devs talking about them having " dungeon masters " influencing the narrative of the invasion, so it might be that at some point Heeth might get invaded again, maybe if we as the community happen to fail to reach the weekly invasion goal or something, I can't imagine them removing the option of playing on certain planets forever.

By the way, in the first game, as the galatoc war was progressing, the active planets were progressively further from super earth, so always different planets after a couple of weeks. Planets of the same type will appear layer too.
