Is there a way to leave the party after a mission?

After every mission I'm just locked in with the party, is there a way to just leave it after the mission is done?

Yes there is.
Esc -> Leave to your ship alone or something like that in the bottom left corner.

On the ship itself you can also head back to where you came from. A message to leave to your own ship will appear.
