Done 5 missions today and have found 20 in total 😭
If it gives you any comfort: I feel being capped at 10 per mission maximum. But I read it is entirely luck dependant what map seed generation you get. The other day one had 100 on one map.
The idea is to find a flat map with no water. The less obstructions in the area layout, the better your chances of finding more points of interest. Alt-F4 your game once you finally find a good map to farm in order to keep it. As most should already know, but in case there's those who don't, you don't have to complete the mission to keep reward pickups from points of interest like medals and supercredits.
This part I refuse to do because it feels exploitative; I think if people abuse it arrowhead will act on it. But, if you must; it's faster to momentarily disconnect your internet. It will instantly return you to the ship which is faster than restarting the game
They're faster and easy so you can also extract with Samples
At the higher levels your biggest bottleneck will be simple samples
Just don't do it on Islands. They barely spawn Minor Places of Interest
Randomize drops just means that trivial maps with the most poi next to each other are the good ones and the leaving operation one is a kick in the knee for people crashing mid operation which is still a pretty common occurence
