Stalkers are too OP?

This problem is exclusive to helldive. But if they nerf stalkers, it will also affect the other difficulties. The issue is helldive is supposed to be the peak difficulty, but with how stalkers are balanced on it, it becomes a teammate issue rather than a skill issue. You need to be playing with friends or VOIP with randoms to succeed, meaning there is no skill factor in killing stalkers at the highest difficulty.
Stalkers have been the 2nd largest killer to my drops- the first being teammates team-killing. The team-killing can be largely avoided by kicking the unskilled players, but the stalkers can't. It's supposed to be a glass cannon bug but its the third strongest bug in the game that comes with its own nest that doesn't appear on the map.

It is more agile than the hunters, has more health than the brood commanders, its attacks combo you harder than a charger, its attack is equivalent to a brood commander, and they're faster than you unless you have like 540 speed. Oh they also are partially invisible :). Literally the only thing that makes the game playable against them at the moment is their invisibility highlighting them in spore clouds, a bug that I hope gets fixed AFTER a nerf or rework.

Stalkers spawn in a Stalker Nest, and can stack up to 6 stalkers from what I've seen if you're in the spawn radius but not aggro range. If 2 stalker nests stack in their spawn ranges, you'll have to fight up to 12 stalkers just for a chance to close one of the nests. It is absurdly broken and so far is the only enemy I've seen that feels like almost no though was put into balance. I fear stalkers more than bile titans at this point.

Edit: Is there some tips I'm missing because after doing countless runs, they're the ONLY bug that seems to have no definitive way to smash it.

Edit Edit: Lots of these bozos are giving tips asthough I don't know how to play the game. I play on helldive. Maybe the stalkers are fine on lower difficulties but unless you've also reached the peak and play helldive, shut the hell up. You have no right to speak about nerfs and buffs if you haven't reached the max difficulty

I am the one carrying you know-it-all. I'm the only one that focuses on stalker lairs and main objectives. Jesus christ you clowns know how to piss someone off. As I've stated a few times, I'M USUALLY HAVING TO SOLO THESE LAIRS.

Edit: If I had friends, I wouldn't have this issue because then I'd have some not absolutely useless teammates that would rather focus on a 2 person door than an objective.

The calculations on it are so weird. If you dive and get hit by a charger, charging brood commander, or stalker, while in the air, you'll go flying farther than a North Korean missile.

The funny thing about the knockback is it's saved me more often than it's killed me. Why would melee only enemies WANT to throw me miles away?

Anyway in my experience shooting the legs off is the quickest way to kill one.

It's deadliness is on points, without being cheesy like special in game like l4d and their clone.
Tho I will say that they are a bit too tanky for how agile they are.

Its not the deadliness thats the issue- its the overall combination. In HD1 they are easy to kill but ambush the player and have a strong attack. Here they ambush, have high attack, invisibility, AND high health.

Taken from HD1 wiki, not gonna play it myself, not my kind of game.

FWIW I play duo teams with my brother and he felt they were too tanky as well, but I didn't get it—I'd been shooting them in the legs the whole time, and it drops them in one mag of our primary smg thing. Unlike some of the bigger ones whose names escape me, losing 2 legs seems to kill these.

For me I need to dump an entire mag into legs/skull just to down one. It's also pretty difficult when they're so fast and you're being chased by 40 bugs.

The auto-cannon is like a cheat code though. I see everyone using it for every slightly difficult bug in the game and it largely ruins the fun. Titan? Auto-cannon. Charger? Auto-cannon. I feel like with how OP auto-cannon is, it will also get a nerf soon. It doesn't feel like it's being used the way devs intended as it's too op.

A lot of the OP/unintended stuff will get reworks IMO. The Defender is just a better Liberator for instance.
