Can't gift Super Citizen edition.

Somebody in my family wants to buy the super cit ed for my account. However he can't do it. How come? Can we fix it?

They may be able to gift you the main game, and then just gift the super citizen upgrade dlc.

Just have them paypal you the money or give you a steam gift card...You can't buy stuff with dependencies for other people sometimes.

That's a no go. This person wants to get rid of his 60 euro's on his account - this is why he wants to gift me the game. And I give him a small amount of money back for the effort.

It's impossible. The "Super Citizen" is under a bundle option making it impossible to gift as a dlc. Sorry.

You can get the base game, but unless they change the "Super Citizen" to be a standalone DLC, it will be impossible to gift it.

Edit Edit: It's worth mentioning, you can get Super Citizen at any time you want. You can get the base game now, and just get Super Citizen later if you want to.

Does this person in your "family" live in another region? If there's more than a 10% price difference from that region to yours then gifting is 100% impossible and they'd need to send you money instead.

Okay so that is the limiting factor. The person is done with pc gaming and wants to get rid of his 60 euro at once. That's why I want the super citi ed. it's 60 euro in our store. Thanks.

They can buy giftcards on steam directly and gift you the gift card.

Thanks for the tip. I know the internets is where stuff is fishy most of the time but I am truthful here. Honestly. I went from ps5 to pc - i have had a pc for a long time now... The reason why I quit ps5 is because you have to pay for psn and sony upped the price which I decided is a no-go for me. So now my friends and I only play games that are completely free like warzone.

I wanted to buy the game at first on ps5 as I love sitting on the couch - but this game is coop mp which I love - but you need psn for that.

So I wanted it on pc. My fam member is a bit older than I am and is completely done with gaming (sadly) and he wanted to buy for me this special edition of the game. But like I said in first post (even after adding 2 euros to get to the 60 euro mark) he can't gift me the game. Probably because of the DLC like other people said.

It's just how it is. I have never heard about this problem to be quite fair and I also did not know about steam gift cards - I know about the cardboard cards in stores... but not the digital ones.
